What A First Car!

This past weekend at the 19th Autumn Get-Together the Goodguys gave away a beautiful 1965 Mustang in a contest surrounded with excitement. 24 qualifiers all drew keys at random, then one-by-one each contestant attempted to start the car with their key. 

Pleasanton native Colleen Donnelly, 21 drew the lucky key that started the Goodguys Giveaway 1965 Mustang. “I don’t even own a car!” she quipped, still visibly shaking from the excitement. “I take the bus everywhere I go. Not anymore!” she said.

 

The 1965 Mustang was the center piece of a year long promotion for Goodguys in partnership with KITS 105.3FM, CBS 5 and sponsors Intro Wheels, BF Goodrich, Grant Driving Accessories, Steele Rubber Products, PPG Paint and Troy’s Body & Paint. 

 It is one thing to hear about these Giveaway contests, it’s another to watch as the anxious contestants hop into the car and try to frantically get their key to turn the engine. The face of the winner is priceless, their reaction is sheer surprise.

Just another fun part of the Goodguys traditions.
