You’ve seen on them on the backs of Goodguys fans across the U.S.. You’ve seen them all over the web. This week we explore where Goodguys gets those incredible event designs each year?
“This is a relationship going on almost 30 years now,” founder Gary Meadors states proudly. He is speaking of the close relationship with Andy’s Tees of Concord, Ca (www.andystees.com) . “We met in the mid-70’s early 80’s working the Nats East events and other like them all over the place. It was a real 50 / 50 relationship.”
The Goodguys / Andy’s Tees production relationship has grown from the event tee’s to full embroidery on polos, jackets, and other great Goodguys Merch.
Gary Meadors recalls, “I remember Andy’s original set-up on the side of his house in Concord with barebones screening equipment. This great artist Andy was working with from Southern California, Tom Taylor, was getting frustrated with the ‘muddy’ outcome of his designs on the shirts. So one day Tom brings up professional this screen printer from So. Cal to check out Andy’s set-up. A couple tweaks to the screens later and the rest is history.”
You can find all of the 2008 Event designs on our Event Listing Page and check out the Tee’s in our Goodguys Online Mall.

Goodguys and AirRide Technologies have been partnered together with the Street Challenge AutoCross for a few years now to promote the AirRide Suspension. Recently MaxChevy did a great Q & A article with Bret Voelkel.
